Application Tutorial Program Summer Semester

Funded by tuition contributions, voluntary tutorials are offered to our students for the central compulsory modules as a supplement to the material taught in lectures and exercise sessions. Under the guidance of advanced students, the content covered is further reviewed in these tutorials, and the key concepts are practiced using additional exercises.

Have you already successfully completed one of the compulsory courses listed below and would like to help other students better understand the material? Then we look forward to receiving your application as a student tutor!

We are looking for student tutors for the following courses

1. Courses for the major subject (call for applications & application tool)

• Macroeconomics (Introductory & Intermediate, nach PStO 2025)
• Mathematical Methods in Economics
• Taxation and the Welfare State (Fiwi 2)

2. Courses for the minor subject (call for applications & application tool)

• Grundlagen der VWL 2 (Makroökonomie)

Note: It is possible and encouraged for students who attended courses under the 2013 examination regulations to lead tutorials under the 2025 examination regulations (example: Macroeconomics).

Applications are coordinated through the Economics Dean’s Office. Selection is carried out by the respective instructors of the courses. To prepare for the tutoring role, a mandatory 1.5-day communication seminar is held in the week before the start of the lecture period.
